These terms cover the free tools at uploadnothing.com. By using them you agree to the limits below. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Your files
- Use the tools only on files you own or are allowed to modify. Upload Nothing does not check ownership, because the file never arrives here.
- Unlock PDF removes a password you already know. It does not recover a forgotten password and it does not try candidates. Do not use it on a file you are not allowed to open.
- Sign PDF draws an image of a signature. It is not a digital certificate, not a witness, and not a promise that a court will accept it.
The service
The tools are provided as they are, without a warranty that a portal will accept the output or that a compressed file will hit a size on the first try. Output depends on the browser, the file, and the options you set. You should open the result before you rely on it.
The site may show ads. Ads are not endorsements. The operator may change or remove a tool. There is no payment, no refund, and no service level. The governing location for a dispute with the operator is British Columbia, Canada, to the extent local law allows a site like this to say so.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to break the law, to bypass access you do not have, or to overload someone else’s browser by sending them a page and telling them it is safe when you know the file is not theirs to open. The tools run on the visitor’s machine. Abuse of that fact is still abuse.
